School is back in and those long summer days are finally starting to shorten and cool off. This is especially true up here in Michigan, where Jim and I are on the last day of our first road trip in the Midwest (posts to follow).

We got our first glimpses of fall as we chased the colors from Chicago, Illinois, through Indiana, and up into Michigan, getting our best autumnal hues in the upper peninsula. I’m ready for more fall.
