We’ve been exploring the Oregon coast for the past couple of days, and I’m currently writing this post from a hotel room in Astoria. It’s a startlingly beautiful region, where mossy forests run nearly down to the beach. Having lived in California and Utah for most of my life, I’m used to seeing alpine forests hours (California) or days (Utah) from the beach. In Oregon, on the other hand, everything runs together in an awe-some mix.
I’m still collecting my thoughts on this trip and will have a lot more to say. But for now, here are a handful of videos I’ve shot of the beach, the mountains, and more:
