Here’s a list of the places we’ve visited so far:
Tangier (Morocco)

(We also spent a day and a half in New York trying to leave JFK.)

My favorite place thus far has been Tangier; it was more difficult to get to and navigate than the Spanish cities we’ve visited, but ultimately very rewarding once we finally figured out how to do it. (It was also stressful because we arrived via boat late in the day with out a place to stay or really any knowledge of the city. We do that all the time in European cities, but Tangier is a lot grittier.)

Anyway, my favorite Spanish city was Sevilla. Because we’re visiting in the absolute hottest time of the year, there weren’t as many tourists as there would otherwise be. I also found the old Santa Cruz neighborhood where we stay endlessly charming. It’s an old medieval area that was once a Jewish neighborhood before the Jews were driven out.
